Notice how similar the NCLEX RN and the NCLEX PN exams are?
The only difference between the two is in Management: The RN exam includes more “Management” of Care where the PN focuses on “Coordinated Care.” What’s the difference? Simply that when taking the PN exam remember that you need the same test-taking skills, the same critical judgement skills, an the same base of knowledge of nursing sciences. An LPN/LVN is a nurse!
Look at the difference more closely:
Essentially, the Nation Board expects you to be aware of the nursing process and how management works between PN- RN – MD and other healthcare professionals. Otherwise, you’re getting essentially the same exam.
Go in there and pass, and get started on the bridge to RN for a significant salary increase.
